We will consider equivalent qualifications from your home country for entry onto our Foundation, Bachelor’s and Master’s courses. Please see below for details of the accepted qualifications (including English language qualifications) for each level of course. Each application we receive is considered individually and therefore these qualifications are provided as a guide.

For our Bachelor's level courses, we usually require that you have:

  • Irish Leaving Cert (Higher Level) with at least 3 Higher level subjects, equating to 64 UCAS points for a 4 year Bachelor's course.
  • Irish Leaving Cert (Higher Level) with at least 5 Higher level subjects, equating to 112 UCAS points for a 3 year Bachelor's course.

For our Master's courses, we usually require that you have:

  • Bachelor's degree with satisfactory grades from a recognised Irish university.

English Language requirements:

  • A-C / A1-C3 of the Leaving Certificate at Ordinary/Standard level.

As well as academic qualifications, some of our courses require a portfolio of work or audition piece.
