Paul Vivian

Paul Vivian leads our BA (Hons) and MA Fine Art courses at UCA Farnham. He is a UK based artist whose practice responds to found objects and images.

Paul studied painting at Chelsea College of Arts and has an MA Fine Art from Norwich School of Art and Design (now Norwich University of the Arts) and he has a PGCE post compulsory education qualification.

He has exhibited widely at spaces including The Jerwood Space; London, Outpost Gallery; Norwich, Art Gene; Barrow in Furness and The Tulca Visual Arts Festival; Galway.

Upcoming projects include a solo presentation of work at 45 Park Lane, a solo project at K6 Gallery, Southampton and residency at G.A.P Brasilia. Paul has delivered papers at conferences in Berlin, Oxford and Prague on the subject of collage, an area of practice he develops actively within his own work.

Prior to joining UCA Paul ran a foundation course and held management and co-ordination roles at Reading College and School of Art and Design and Thames Valley University.
