Liz Wilkinson has worked at UCA since 1996, teaching contextual and critical studies across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Before joining UCA she taught in a variety of settings in compulsory and post-compulsory education, including for the Workers’ Education Association.

Liz has taught critical and theoretical studies on courses including media studies, graphic design, digital film and screen arts. She has taught animation since 2009, having been commended for Teaching Excellence three times, and is a qualified teacher of Art and Design.

Liz completed a BA in Fine Art (Communication Arts) and an MA in Women’s Studies at Sheffield City Polytechnic in 1987 and 1991 respectively; and a PGCE at Manchester Metropolitan University in 1993.
