Jake Guest studied a BA in Digital Media Design from 2012 - 2015 specialising in digital graphics and animation at the University of Brighton.

Jake Guest studied a BA in Digital Media Design from 2012 - 2015 specialising in digital graphics and animation at the University of Brighton.

Working as a freelance graphic designer after graduating, he was offered the opportunity to begin a career as an in-house 3D artist producing photo-realistic architectural visualisations.

From 2016 to 2018 Jake worked with multiple clients creating 3D architectural mockups, animations and virtual reality experiences whilst also freelancing as an environment artist for independent game developers.

Returning to study for a Master Degree in Games Design in 2018, he focussed on building highly refined 3D environment projects in virtual reality and rapid game prototyping, eventually graduating with a Distinction in 2019.

He continues to work as a freelance environment artist in the Games Industry, alongside working as a technical tutor at UCA and a sessional games art lecturer at other Universities.
