Our fourth and final campus Graduation Show opened at UCA Canterbury with a private view on 16th June. Our shows are one of the biggest events of the year in the UCA calendar, celebrating the achievements of our graduating students and showcasing some of the best work produced that year.
UCA’s class of 2017 welcomed their family, friends and industry contacts into the exhibition spaces around the campus.
Take a look at some of the highlights from the show — and a few students we managed to catch up with who were there on the night.
Setting the atmosphere: Canterbury Private Show featured Vietnamese street food and live music in the sunshine
The BA (Hons) Fine Art course is one of the bigger ones on the Canterbury campus, and the show is a big hit every year.
….Fine Art continues….
…and continues through a huge portion of the campus.
The second course that is just as big as Fine Art in Canterbury is Architecture, with students spending up to 5 years earning their qualifications on campus.
Party: Lecturer Rob Nice took up the decks to DJ in the Architecture building.
Every year the Head of School for Architecture, Allan Atlee, presents the Architecture awards to the students of all years.
