UCA Students’ Union (UCASU) represents, supports and provides opportunities for every student at the University. The Union are independent of the university, but work together closely to promote student interests. Every UCA student is automatically a member of the Students’ Union, and can benefit from the activities, support, and representation we offer on a daily basis.
Every year the Union holds elections for students to decide who represents them best, making sure the Union knows what it’s like to study at UCA and what can be done to make things better. Whether this is about the social community, hot topics everyone is talking about, or stuff happening on your course, the Union is here for you. Find out who your President and Vice-Presidents are on the Elections page.
There are plenty of ways to get involved with the Students’ Union, which has an office on every campus. If you want to improve your experience of living and studying at UCA, you can join or run a club or society, be a course rep, volunteer or take part in the events run by the Union.
The Union offers a range of information, advice and guidance. If things aren’t going as expected, the Union is available to support you and get you back on track. You’ll always get a warm welcome at the Union, and they will always try to help with whatever is on your mind.
The Students' Union website and social pages will keep you updated with all the latest union news, event listings, clubs and societies on your campus and volunteering opportunities.
