We will consider equivalent qualifications from your home country for entry onto our Foundation, Bachelor’s and Master’s courses. Please see below for details of the accepted qualifications (including English language qualifications) for each level of course. Each application we receive is considered individually and therefore these qualifications are provided as a guide.
For our International Foundation in Art, Design and Media, we usually require that you have:
Syrian General Secondary Certificate (al Shahâda al-Thânawiyya al-cÄmma or Baccalauréat), showing completion of 12 years of school study, with the minimum pass-mark in your streem (102/240 in Literary Stream or 104/260 in Scientific Streem).
For our Bachelor's courses, we usually require that you have one of the following:
- Syrian Technical Diploma/Associate degree with 65%.
A transcript showing successful completion of year 1 of a Bachelor's degree from a recognised Syrian university 65%.
For our Master's courses, we usually require that you have:
A Bachelor degree (Al-Ijâza fi or Licence) awarded after 4 years of study with 'Very Good'/GPA 80-89% from private universities or with 70-79% from state universities.
English Language requirements:
Satisfactory IELTS scores are required. Please check here for the scores required for your course.
