One to one advice

Careers advice and guidance is available at all campuses. We offer one-to-one advice based on individual needs. We help find jobs and internships, advise on all aspects of job applications and give guidance on career routes. Our aim is to make students clearer about their career paths and to be successful whatever route they choose.

To book an appointment please sign up to our Careers Portal: uca.jobteaser.com (use your personal email to enable access after graduating).

Presentations and workshops

Our SPECTRA programme offers a varied selection of talks and workshops to prepare students for their professional futures from both our in-house careers team and hand-picked professionals from the creative industries.

SPECTRA is a termly programme of lectures and workshops to help prepare you for professional success. Students from all courses and graduates are welcome. No need to book, just turn up.

What does SPECTRA stand for?

Professional: Building a network, self-promotion and establishing your reputation.

Employable: Understanding the world of work, placements, job hunting and self-employment.

Specialist events

We also offer a range of larger careers fairs and events that unite employers and careers specialists with our students.

Drop-in opportunities

Students can also access specialist careers and employability help through drop-in support. No need to book an appointment. Just turn up on the day.
