There are four different accommodation blocks available - Bradford House, Wilberforce Court, Crossways House and Worple Road – located either next to campus or a ten-minute walk away.
Whichever you choose, you’ll be in shared accommodation with single bedrooms, each of which comes with a bed, wardrobe, desk and chair – you can put your personal stamp on it.
Accommodation costs
For 2026/27, prices range from around £170 to £205 per week and vary depending your level of study and the type of accommodation you choose.
Residence fees must be paid in full at the beginning of the period of residence or by the instalment due dates.
Your accommodation fees include internet access and utilities (heating, lighting and water). A TV licence is not included.

The allocation of rooms is carried out randomly. The University cannot guarantee to offer students their first choice regarding the location or size of the room allocated.
Please consider the number of rooms available for each room type when applying for accommodation.
If you are offered a place in university accommodation, you will be asked for an advance payment of £300. You should deduct this from the first payment of your Residence Fees.

What UCA provides
We’ll provide a vacuum cleaner, broom, dustpan and brush, and mop and bucket in each flat.
- Student wardens live on-site, so there's help out of hours if you need it
- 24/7 laundry facilities
- We operate a no-smoking policy in all our residences and buildings
- There are no parking facilities
