Farzam Bonabi

Farzam is the Programme Director for Creative Entrepreneurial Business at UCA Business School for the Creative Industries. Farzam believes in a teaching approach that combines academic knowledge with practical skills to prepare students for real-world challenges.

Bio

Farzam has 14 years of experience in higher education in the UK, having worked with the University of Greenwich, the University of Hertfordshire, the University of Gloucestershire, Teesside University, and Bath Spa University in London, where he was Course Director and was responsible for the leadership and delivery of all programmes and line management of a high archiving team of academic and non-academic staff in London campus with nearly 900 students. He was a finalist for the University's VC 2022 award for manager of the year.

He has extensive experience in change management and believes that organisations must be adaptable to changing environments and constantly evaluate their plans and strategies in order to add value to their operations and build a high-performance team.
 
He previously worked as a programme leader, senior lecturer, lecturer and visiting lecturer. He was a senior lecturer in Leadership and Business Strategy and module leader in many business and management related modules including Cross Cultural Management, International Business, Marketing and Management. He taught at all levels from Foundation to MBA. He has supervised many undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations.
 
Farzam was a PhD researcher at the Department of International Business and Economics at the University of Greenwich. He graduated in Marketing and Economy from Business College in Copenhagen, Denmark and holds MA in Business and Management and BA (Hons) in International Management-Marketing both from Anglia Ruskin University in the UK and Certificate in Cross Cultural Management from Saxon University, Netherlands.
 
He has extensive industry experience in international business and consultancy across various industries and countries, particularly in Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
