The business of moving and shipping luxury items – from fine art to world tour stages – is an intricate and highly specialised one. This MSc Luxury Buying & Logistics course gives you the tools to become an expert in this very sought-after field.

On this course, you’ll learn detailed procurement and logistics knowledge, and develop your professional and ethical competence, so you can enter your career in the creative industries with confidence.

As well as learning the core values of buying and logistics in the luxury market, your studies will focus on global practices and law, understanding consumers, fashion, fine art, large-scale touring management and personalised buying.

    You will cover a multitude of units across the year, to be divided across three terms and culminating in your masters’ project.

    Some of your learning will be conducted alongside students from other postgraduate courses, including the Business Seminar series. These are for all Business School students and cover the core business knowledge areas – accounting, finance, marketing, innovation, HR and operations principles.

    Tuition fees
    The course fees per year for 2021 entry are:

    • UK students full-time - £10,400
    • International and EU students full-time - £17,500 (standard fee)
    • International and EU students full-time - £16,800 (full early payment fee)

Facilities

The UCA Business School for the Creative Industries, based at our Epsom campus, is the first of its kind in the UK. There are dedicated studios and study areas, digital media suites equipped with Macs and PCs programmed with specialist software including Adobe Creative Suite, Dreamweaver and After Effects. There’s a modern library with a wealth of books and thanks to its location, many opportunities to collaborate with students from other courses.

  • An honours degree or equivalent qualification in the subject or a related discipline

and/or

  • Relevant work experience, demonstrating your ability to study at postgraduate level.

Consideration will also be given to applicants who can make a strong case for admission in relation to a particular project and can demonstrate their potential to satisfactorily complete the course.
