UCA is a true art school, where whatever you want to do – you can do it. 

Our roots may go back a century, to the vision of a traditional landscape artist, but that’s the last time we were traditional. 

You’ll learn all the fundamentals of fine art here, all taught by internationally famous and successful artists. And you’ll visit galleries and museums, go to Berlin and Venice, to see the greats and the classics. But what you do with that knowledge is your business. Use it, forget it, ignore it – it’s your choice.

You’ll have the space – your own, dedicated studio space –  as well as the time, facilities, and guidance to find out what kind of artist you really are.

Want to work with steel? We’ve got a 3D printer for that.

Need a darkroom to experiment with photography? We've got black and white and colour ones.

Painting. Life drawing. Ceramics. Woodwork. Foundry. Screen printing. Glass blowing. You have unlimited access to every tool and technique on campus.
