Submissions for the Student Research Conference 2025 are now closed. The event will take place from the 24th to the 25th of June in Canterbury.
The theme for this year’s conference is: Horizons: Past and Future Perspectives.
All UCA students are warmly invited to attend our upcoming conference.
The event will feature a range of presentations and discussions led by postgraduate researchers exploring creative practices and critical perspectives.
You can find the full programme and timetable here. We hope to see you there!
The conference consists of three different sections that you can participate in:
- 15-minute presentations form the main part of the event, allowing you to present your proposed abstract in detail.
- Lightning talks are brief 5-minute presentations, ideal for sharing key insights concisely.
- The Show and Tell section is designed for those who wish to showcase their creative practice or artwork.
You are welcome to take part in one or more of these sections, providing an opportunity to share your research with peers, supervisors, and professionals while expanding your academic and creative network.
Submission Guidelines (submissions are now closed):
Abstracts should be between 150 to 200 words. Submit via the MS Form.
The deadline for abstract submissions is Sunday 20th April 2025. You will be notified of the outcome of your application via email by 11th May 2025. If your abstract is accepted, you will receive further details on attending the conference as a presenter shortly thereafter.
Participants may also upload any relevant images, videos, or supporting materials related to their project via the submission form.
