Director of Estates and Facilities
Dr Akin Oluwatudimu is UCA’s Director of Estates and Facilities, managing the university’s campuses and driving UCA’s Estates strategy to support delivery of the university’s growth and enhance its national and international standing.
Bio
Akin started his career in teaching and research in the built environment. Then following a stint in the private sector, he has gained 20 years of experience of delivering construction projects in UK higher education institutions. Akin joins UCA from Brunel University London where he was Acting Director of Estates. Prior to Brunel, he held senior positions at Anglia Ruskin University, University of Essex and Imperial College London.
A Member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM) and a Chartered Construction Manager with the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB), Akin obtained his Research Doctorate degree in Building in Italy. He also holds M.Sc. and B.Sc. (Hons) degrees in Architecture.
