Fast-track postgraduate offers for UCA students and alumni

These scholarships are available for the 2026/27 academic year.

Undergraduate to Masters

A fee discount off the first-year tuition fee is available to eligible UCA, LCCA and LCCM students who match the following criteria:

• A current UCA, LCCA or LCCM student in your final year or have graduated from UCA, LCCA or LCCM up to five years ago.
• The course you completed (or will complete) was a BA/BSc (Hons) degree.
• Applying to study a postgraduate degree (such as a MA, MFA, MSc, MBM, MBA, MArch) starting in 2026.

The discount available depends on the grade you achieved in your undergraduate course:

• If you achieved a 2:1 and above you will receive a 50% tuition fee discount
• If you achieved a 2:2 you will receive a fee discount of £1,500

You do not need to apply. The discount will automatically be deducted from your fees before you enrol. The fee discount will be split over two years for part-time courses.

Undergraduate to PhD

For PhD research courses, the progression discount depends on the grade you achieved in your undergraduate course at UCA:

• If you achieved a 1st you will receive a fee discount of £2,500 

This discount is off the fees of all years of the course you are progressing to and is available for UK graduates of all UCA undergraduate degrees who graduated within the previous five years of starting your PhD course.

These scholarships are available for the 2026/27 academic year.

We have a range of fee discounts, also known as scholarships, available to our current UCA students from international countries who would like to continue studying with us and International alumni who graduated from UCA within the last five years.

You do not need to apply. The discount will automatically be deducted from your fees before you enrol.

International Foundation in Creative Practices to Undergraduate 

If you are progressing from the International Foundation in Creative Practices course to an undergraduate course, you can get a progression discount of £1,500 off the fees for the first year of the course you are progressing to.

UCA Continuing Performance Scholarships

• Value: £4,000 for students that pass and progress to the next stage of their undergraduate or postgraduate course (excluding the International Foundation in Creative Practices and one-semester integrated pre-masters).
• Course(s): All full-time undergraduate and postgraduate taught degree courses.
• Eligibility: All international students.
• Criteria: Students need to achieve a pass or above in the previous year of study.

Note 1: Students who joined UCA before Sept 2025 will receive the Excellence scholarship if they achieved a pass or above in their previous year's study, valued at £2,000 per year (£4,000 for Nepalese students).

Note 2: Students who join in Sept 2025 will receive the UCA Continuing Performance Scholarship.

Note 3: Students who joined in Sept 2025 receive £2,000 each progressing year of an undergraduate course (excludes PPY). £4,000 per year for students from South Asian countries (Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan & Sri Lanka).

Undergraduate to Masters (International)

For postgraduate taught courses, the progression discount depends on the grade you achieved in your undergraduate course at UCA, LCCA and LCCM:

• If you achieved a 2:1 and above you will receive a 50% tuition fee discount
• If you achieved a 2:2 you will receive a fee discount of £3,000

This discount is off the fees of the first year of the course you are progressing to and is available for International graduates of all UCA, LCCA and LCCM undergraduate degrees who graduated within the previous five years of starting your postgraduate course.

Undergraduate to Masters scholarships are only available to students who apply directly to UCA. Applications submitted via an education agent, or third-party service are not eligible, and the discount will not be applied.

Undergraduate to Masters (ICI fee discount)

For students progressing from ICI China to a postgraduate taught course at UCA you will receive a 50% tuition fee discount if you have achieved a 1st, 2:1 or 2:2 grade in your undergraduate course. This discount is off the fees of the first year of the course you are progressing to and is available for International graduates of all ICI undergraduate degrees who graduated within the previous five years of starting your postgraduate course.

ICI Undergraduate to UCA Masters scholarship

• Value: Full fee waiver for the one year duration of masters course
• Number available: three
• Course(s): 

• Eligibility: All eligible students.
• Criteria: Highest achieving graduate score from ICI for BA Visual Communication Design, BA Environmental Design OR BA Digital Media Arts
