Additional costs

Getting the most out of a creative arts education can sometimes involve paying more than just your tuition fee.

You may sometimes find yourself having to pay for additional expenses such as:

  • Project materials and equipment typically costs between £100-500 per year, but will vary depending on the course you choose to study.
  • Local field trips are sometimes free, but may have associated travel costs. Some courses estimate up to £100 per year for these trips.
  • International study excursions could cost anywhere between an £200-800 per trip, depending on the location and time of year.
  • Studying abroad will involve extra costs such as travel, accommodation, visas, and insurance that may cost anywhere from £800 to £ 2,000 per month. These costs are highly variable depending on where you choose to study and for how long.
  • Printing and photocopying typically cost students around £15–£20 per year on average, though some may spend significantly more or less depending on their needs.

Please note: these costs are estimates and will vary per student depending on their course and activities undertaken.
