Over two days, in front of family and friends, graduates commemorate their time at university at one of London’s most iconic and vibrant cultural and creative venues, following in the footsteps of thousands of UCA graduates before them.
The occasion recognises and celebrates the students’ achievements: the incredible work they have created, their entrepreneurial spirit, and their hard work, as they progress into their future careers in the creative industries as the next generation of creative talent.
Professor Mark Ellul and Professor Melanie Gray, UCA’s Joint Acting Vice-Chancellor’s, said: “We are thrilled to share in this moment with our students and are in awe of the incredible work they’ve created while at UCA. Their unwavering commitment as a formative part of our creative community – we are so grateful for each and every one of them.
“UCA is a place in which they have developed their practice as artists, creators, and innovators to make a real difference to our world.”
And as the students graduate from UCA, they join an exclusive community of alumni who are shaping the future of creativity across the world. From UCA’s Chancellor Emerita and fashion designer, Dame Zandra Rhodes, acclaimed jewellery designer Stephen Webster, award-winning actress Rose Ayling-Ellis, globally renowned ceramicist Dame Magdalene Odundo and Turner Prize-nominated artist, Tracey Emin, they have all pushed the boundaries of what is possible.
From everyone at UCA, we wish the Graduating Class of 2025 every success as they step into the future.
