Organised by Professors of Architecture Charles Holland and Cat Rossi, ENERGY was the 2023 – 24 Autumn/Winter Multistory lecture series theme. Framed by the climate emergency, speakers explored architecture and design’s response to this challenge, rethinking approaches to energy in the design, production and use of buildings, objects, and things.

Multistory is the long-standing public programme organised by the School of Architecture and Design (CSAD), and which sits at the intersection of its research, knowledge exchange, and teaching activities. We seek to mobilise Multistory to position UCA at the centre of contemporary debates on architecture and design in the UK and internationally. Since 2022 the programme has been convened by Professors of Architecture Charles Holland and Cat Rossi.
