Study Film through Clearing at UCA

Every module of UCA's Film Production is practical and right away in your first year you'll be experimenting across every role: directing, shooting, editing, sound, producing. As the degree continues you'll get to sharpen your skills ready for your final major projects; a major collaborative production where you'll specialise by leading a department.

Lecturers are active in the industry including screenwriters, documentary filmmakers, editors, directors, and technicians. As well as working with teachers and classmates, you'll be collaborating with creatives from across the universities including actors, musicians, set designers, sound engineers and prop makers.

Every year many students as can you get into Film through Clearing? And the answer is yes! Many students secure places on Film courses through Clearing every year.

You may be eligible for an Film Clearing place if:

• You've received your results and are looking for available courses
• You've changed your mind about where or what to study
• You didn't meet the conditions of your original offer
• You're applying to university after the main UCAS deadline

Film applicants may be asked to provide examples of creative work or a portfolio. Our admissions team will explain the current requirements and guide you through the process.
