Study Animation through Clearing at UCA

On the Animation degree at UCA you'll learn techniques and tools across 2D, 3D, stop motion, and experimental approaches that can be applied to your ideas as you bring them to life.

As is a specialist creative arts university, you'll have access to resources many animation students don’t including printmaking, ceramics, glass, woodworking, and metalwork studios, all staffed by specialist technicians. 

Many UCA students have had their work selected for international film festivals, which is where you'll find studios searching for new talent. You'll learn how to submit, contextualise and present your work professionally to build your visibility and industry connections well before you graduate.

Every year many students as can you get into Animation through Clearing? And the answer is yes! Many students secure places on Animation courses through Clearing every year.

You may be eligible for an Animation Clearing place if:

• You've received your results and are looking for available courses
• You've changed your mind about where or what to study
• You didn't meet the conditions of your original offer
• You're applying to university after the main UCAS deadline

Animation applicants may be asked to provide examples of creative work or a portfolio. Our admissions team will explain the current requirements and guide you through the process.
