Creative Evening Classes at UCA Farnham

Try something new with beginner-friendly access to UCA's professional creative facilities.

UCA Farnham's Creative Evening Classes give adults from Farnham and the surrounding area the opportunity to learn practical creative skills and explore specialist processes in the studios and workshops of one of the UK's specialist creative universities.

From developing your own black-and-white photographs in the darkroom to working with hot glass, each course gives you hands-on access to specialist facilities, equipment and staff expertise in a friendly and supportive environment.

You don't need previous experience or a creative qualification to take part. These courses are about learning through making: developing practical skills, experimenting with new creative processes and producing work of your own.

Each course runs over four weekly 2.5-hour evening sessions, giving you time to build your skills and work towards tangible creative outcomes.

Looking for a one-off creative experience?

In December, we'll also be hosting a Christmas Craft Evening where you can try your hand at one of our specialist craft processes and create something festive to keep or give as a gift.

Choose from three hands-on activities:

• Glass Christmas Bauble Making – £75
• Festive Lino Printing – £50
• Festive Screenprinting – £50

No previous experience is needed, and all three workshops include expert guidance and access to the specialist equipment and facilities you'll need.
