HARVEST MOON is a table made from agricultural and industrial waste harvested in Kent, including grubbed up apple trees, chestnut peelings, and pallet straps. Together these materials tell stories of local resources, economies and industries, of changing customs and seasons, of generosity, of the climate emergency, and the possibilities of regenerative design. The table has been designed to host HARVEST GATHERING, to explore what we gather, collect and give thanks for today. Assembling the table is the frst step and key to the gathering. Like a barn raising, it takes working together.
This project is designed by Charles Holland and Cat Rossi.
