Product Design degrees in Clearing

At UCA, your studio sits right next door to the workshop and you’ll move constantly between designing and making, testing ideas physically within minutes of having them. Laser cutting, CNC milling, wood, metal, plastics, casting, 3D printing – it's all here, and it's yours to use.

In the second year of the UCA Product Design degree, your projects shift from personal exploration to professional application. Working with UN Sustainability Goals, live competition briefs, and industry partners, you'll learn to apply your design thinking to problems that can make a difference to the world.

Every year many students as can you get into Product Design through Clearing? And the answer is yes! Many students secure places on Product Design courses through Clearing every year.

You may be eligible for an Product Design Clearing place if:

• You've received your results and are looking for available courses
• You've changed your mind about where or what to study
• You didn't meet the conditions of your original offer
• You're applying to university after the main UCAS deadline

Product Design applicants may be asked to provide examples of creative work or a portfolio. Our admissions team will explain the current requirements and guide you through the process.
