Academic induction

Tuesday 15 September

• 8.30am: Shuttle bus departs from Maidstone Studios. Students can make their own way to Canterbury Campus if preferred. 
• 9am: Student Ambassador Q&A in the café
• 9.30am: Welcome Talk
• 10am: Studio Activity
• 1pm: Lunch
• 2pm: Studio Activity
• 4pm: Optional Support Sessions (including international support, direct entry, MA welcome and digital onboarding)
• 5pm: Shuttle bus departs from the Canterbury campus

Wednesday 16 September

• 9.30am: Freshers' Fair
• 1pm: Lunch (with stalls in reception for Student Life, Students' Union, Library and Careers)
• 2pm: Day ends

A drop-in for visa checks and support will be available from 1-4.30pm.

Thursday 17 September

• 9am: Shuttle bus departs from Canterbury. Students can make their own way to Maidstone if preferred. 
• 10am: Maidstone Studio tour, equipment store induction and work placement talk
• 11.30am: Ice-breaker games
• 1pm: Lunch
• 2pm: Collabrative Photography Project
• 4.15pm: Shuttle bus departs from Maidstone Studios

Friday 18 September

• 9am: Shuttle bus departs from Canterbury. Students can make their own way to Maidstone if preferred. 
• 10am: Introduction to digital learning spaces
• 11.30am: Collaborative Photography Project
• 1pm: Lunch
• 2pm: Collaborative Photography Project Crit
• 3pm: Induction Debrief
• 4.15pm: Shuttle bus departs from Maidstone Studios
