If you're looking for a degree course to help you build a career in the creative industries, the UK is an exciting place to study. Its creative sector is one of the fastest-growing areas of the economy, employing 3.2million people and making £101.5billion a year. Meanwhile, the city of London is known throughout the world as a driving force in the global creative economy.

 

Entry requirements

If you do not have UK qualifications, we will consider equivalent qualifications from Kenya for entry onto our Foundation, Bachelor’s and Master’s courses.

Each application we receive is considered individually and therefore these qualifications are provided as a guide.

Please also check the entry requirements on the specific course you are interested in to check for course-specific requirements.

For our Bachelor's courses, we usually require that you have:

  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with grade B or above.
  • 3-year Polytechnic Diploma (TEP)

For our International Foundation in Creative Practices and our Integrated International Foundation courses, we usually require that you have a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), taken after 12 years of schooling with overall grade C or above.

For our Master’s courses, we usually require that you have successfully completed a Bachelor's degree at a recognised university.

We accept the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), English - Grade C or above.

Scholarships & bursaries

UCA offers a number of fee discounts, also known as scholarships, specific to students from overseas.

These discounts are available to new international students and international alumni, who have graduated within the last three years.
