We create careers

Creative careers start with UCA

At a time when the creative industries are growing faster than the UK economy as whole, the influence of art, design and media in our lives has never been more clearly defined.

By studying with us, you’ll be investing in your future. You’ll be taught by staff who are leading practitioners in their fields, with fantastic links to the creative industries. These close connections help us to keep our courses in line with the latest industry trends, and prepare you for professional practice.

There's never been a better time to take a creative course

With over 1.9 million people working directly in the creative industries, there are wide-ranging careers for creative people. Just check out the facts – the latest figures from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) show that the UK’s creative industries are stronger than ever. According to the DCMS, they are growing at almost twice the rate of the wider UK economy, with the UK’s creative industries now recognised as world-leading.

As the second largest provider of creative arts education in the country, we have launched thousands of students onto exciting career paths with some of the biggest brand names on the planet. 96.9% of UCA graduates are employed (or in further study) within six months of completing their degrees, and we currently have graduates forging careers in a host of rewarding roles – see the next two pages for just some of the career positions secured by our recent graduates.
