The Herbert Read Gallery is right at the heart of UCA’s Canterbury campus. The gallery showcases the work of visiting artists, the university’s research outcomes, and student work, with a focus on fine art.

There is limited parking available on campus and visitors are asked to use one of the signposted car parks in Canterbury city centre. Exceptions can be made for Blue Badge holders and anyone with special requirements should contact Canterbury City Council directly.

Further information on car parks is provided by Canterbury City Council. A Park and Ride service is usually also in operation. However, this service is subject to change due to Coronavirus restrictions, so please check the Park and Ride website before you travel.

Opening times:*

Monday - Friday: 10am - 5pm

Visits over the weekend can be requested between:

Saturday: 10am - 5pm, Sunday: 1pm - 5pm (please use the contact details below to make your request)

Disabled access:

We have accessible parking and toilets on campus.

Guide dogs, hearing dogs and registered assistance dogs are welcome.
