Tipu Miah

Bio

Tipu joined UCA in 2001 as a technician supporting IT hardware and the delivery of creative software. UCA has given him opportunities to work with exceptionally skilled people across the education sector in the UK and internationally. He has both observed and been a part of the development and progression of the University as it has evolved. Proactively taking every opportunity to advance his skills and experience leading to his current role as Technical Service Manager.  

Tipu has always valued opportunities to support the wider community in assisting and participating in charity events. He took great pride in being Vice Chair Governor for a local school and moving on to a role as a trustee member for a charity for Adults and Children with learning disabilities. He continuing to seek for new projects which he feels he can contribute too.

His earlier studies focused on creative design but always with a technical angle which directed him to study BSc Product Design engineering course at the University of Westminster and subsequently taking his interest in 3D CAD and apply it to a MA in Games Design at UCA
