Senior Lecturer in Games
Dr. Digdem Sezen holds the position of Senior Lecturer in Games at the School of Games and Creative Technology within the University for the Creative Arts. Her scholarly interests include games, interactive digital narratives, transmedia storytelling, digital culture, and cinema.
Bio
Dr. Digdem Sezen earned her PhD from Istanbul University's Graduate School of Social Sciences. Throughout her doctoral studies, she was awarded the Fulbright scholarship, which enabled her to conduct her research at the School of Digital Media, Georgia Institute of Technology, USA.
Before joining UCA, she held the position of Senior Lecturer at Teesside University's School of Arts and Creative Industries. During her time there, she also served as the Programme Leader for the MA Digital Media and Communications and the MA Multimedia in Public Relations programmes.
Prior to that, she worked as an Associate Professor at Istanbul University, Turkey and worked as a visiting research fellow at Rhein Waal University of Applied Sciences in Germany.
