Transcript

A transcript is the record of learning and academic achievement in higher education. It provides evidence that a learner has met the requirements for the specified award in addition to information on learning and achievement in the chosen programme of study. Transcripts issued by UCA do not include a record of units which were failed or incomplete at the point of issue.

A final transcript is issued following conferment of an approved final or exit award by the University’s Board of Examiners. The signature of the Academic Registrar authenticates the transcript. An intermediate transcript provides a record of confirmed achievement during continued registration on a programme of study. It is normally issued at the end of each stage of study and will not usually include award details.
