Brad Robinson-Austin

Brad is a technical game designer who has been developing games for over 13 years. He teaches on BA Games Design and BSc Games Development as well as leading the MA Games Design course.

Bio

Brad's main focuses are gameplay, mechanic and level design as well as UI/UX and VR/AR/Emerging technologies. His specialism is using game engines across various platforms to create interesting and entertaining gameplay experiences, as well as using the same tools to create learning materials to better teach the field of game design and development.

Brad has a BSc Gameplay Design and Production, a PGCE and a PGCert in Education Leadership and Management. Over the last 8 years he has written, validated, led, delivered, and assessed courses and content for level 2,3,4,5,6 and 7 games development and creative media related qualifications delivered across 5 institutions. He has competed in several national games development competitions and worked on several indie games projects.
