Term one

Navigating Luxury Industries and Business for Strategic Leadership
This unit focuses on developing your ability to navigate the luxury landscape, and to understand its interconnectivity. By introducing you to a range of interdisciplinary theoretical ideas, this unit will enable you to respond to complex contemporary challenges within the luxury sector as a strategic, thoughtful, and creative luxury business leader.

Strategic Business Perspectives In Fashion And Luxury Industries
Business leaders in the fashion and luxury industries need a profound understanding of strategy for effective operation in the complex markets unique to these sectors. This unit aims to enable you – as a current or future business leader in the fashion or luxury sector – to develop and influence an organisation's strategic direction within the fashion and luxury landscape. You will critique the factors specific to these industries that drive strategic development, appraise tailored strategic approaches, and develop an organisational strategy to achieve a business goal. You will also propose an approach to implement and monitor the strategy, ensuring sustained success within the fashion or luxury business context.

Term two

Luxury Industries And Business Futures
You will enhance your analytical, creative, and practical skills in this unit, preparing you for leadership roles in the dynamic and evolving world of luxury industries and business. You will focus on exploring complex issues and future opportunities within the luxury sector through the lens of entrepreneurial practice. By exploring the dynamic interplay of luxury innovation and entrepreneurial leadership, you will gain insights into the multi-dimensional issues shaping entrepreneurial practices and the future of business in the luxury sector.

Sustainable Business Design And Development In Fashion And Luxury Industries
This unit integrates business design and development with sustainable business practices in the fashion and luxury industries. You will formulate business strategies that navigate modern market complexities and adhere to sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Term three

Fashion and Luxury Industries and Business Final Major Project
Your final major project represents the culmination of your academic journey, requiring the practical application of knowledge gained throughout your programme. It is focused on creating value for your future career at the highest strategic level. The unit challenges you to critically analyse an area of fashion or luxury business that you are passionate about.

UCA merit scholarship

Value: £4,500 fee deduction for the first year.
Course(s): All full-time courses including PhD
Eligibility: All international applicants
Criteria: All applicants who achieve above and beyond the required academic level in their entry qualifications and who adhere to UCA deposit payment policies

UCA creative development scholarships

Value: £3,000 fee deduction for the first year
Course(s): All full-time courses
Eligibility: All international applicants
Criteria: The scholarship will be automatically awarded if candidates meet all eligibility criteria. No application is required.

UCA Continuing Performance Scholarships

Value: £4,000 for students that pass and progress to the next stage of their undergraduate or postgraduate course (excluding the International Foundation in Creative Practices and one-semester integrated pre-masters).
Course(s): All full-time undergraduate and postgraduate taught degree courses.
Eligibility: All international students.
Criteria: Students need to achieve a pass or above in the previous year of study.

Note 1: Students who joined UCA before Sept 2025 will receive the Excellence scholarship if they achieved a pass or above in their previous year's study, valued at £2,000 per year (£4,000 for Nepalese students).

Note 2: Students who join in Sept 2025 will receive the UCA Continuing Performance Scholarship.

Note 3: Students who joined in Sept 2025 receive £2,000 each progressing year of an undergraduate course (excludes PPY). £4,000 per year for students from South Asian countries (Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan & Sri Lanka).
