There’s always a lot to pack into an Open Day, and we don’t want you to miss a thing. Here are our top tips on how to get the most from your time with us:
We have tours running through the day so you can fit one in around your pre-booked talks. You’ll get a complete overview of our amazing facilities and, importantly, a general feel for the campus overall.
Throughout the day you’ll meet a whole range of people from UCA – from your potential Programme Directors and lecturers to our amazing technicians, and our knowledgeable, friendly Student Ambassadors.
Everyone’s ready to answer your questions, so don’t be afraid to ask.
Between your talks and tours, there’s plenty going on!
There will also be student market stalls, badge making and free refreshments.
In the Lounge, you can speak to any of our Student Support, Careers, Study Abroad and Accommodation teams, and if you have more questions about our courses, representatives from our academic teams will also be on hand.
We’re really proud of our campuses – they’re everything you’d hope for as a creative. Everywhere you look, there’s something to see, whether it’s completed work on display, or work being made in our studios and workshops.
And beyond the campus, there’s Canterbury itself – a cosmopolitan Cathedral city steeped in history – did you know there used to be bull-running events here? While most associate this activity with Spain, it was actually done here too, up until the 19th Century.
While you’re visiting, definitely make time to at least take a whistlestop tour inside the city walls.
You won’t be able to squeeze in everything, but that will give you plenty left to see when you have a quiet weekend during your studies.
We're here to answer any questions you have about our Open Days.
