Your Open Day at UCA Farnham

Date: Saturday 26 April 2025

UCA Farnham is our biggest campus, and home to a range of different subject areas.

The campus offers various courses from performing arts to ceramics, film to journalism, games to fine art, animation to graphic design. In short, it’s a hive of creativity and collaboration.

During the day, you'll have the opportunity to tour the campus, chat to academics and current students, attend course talks and find out useful information about life as a UCA student.

Making the most of your Open Day

There’s always a lot to pack into an Open Day, and we don’t want you to miss a thing.  Here are our top tips on how to get the most from your time with us:

Go on a tour

We have tours running through the day so you can fit one in around your pre-booked talks. You’ll get a complete overview of our amazing facilities and, importantly, a general feel for the campus overall.

Talk to us

Throughout the day you’ll meet a whole range of people from UCA – from your potential Programme Directors and lecturers to our amazing technicians, and our knowledgeable, friendly Student Ambassadors.

Everyone’s ready to answer your questions, so don’t be afraid to ask.

Discover student life!

There will be student market stalls, activities like badge making and a creative digital activity, and free refreshments!

You can speak to any of our Student Support, Careers, Study Abroad and Accommodation teams in the refectory, and if you have more questions about our degrees, representatives from our academic teams will be in the library all day.

Maps will be available to help you access everything that’s on offer – and of course our student ambassadors will be around to help you find your way.

Exploring Farnham

We’re really proud of our campuses – they’re everything you’d hope for as a creative. Everywhere you look, there’s something to see, whether it’s completed work on display or work in progress in our studios and workshops.

And the same goes for the town of Farnham itself – did you know that it’s a World Craft Town? Or that the nearby Bourne Woods have been used as a location for more than 30 blockbuster films and television series, from Gladiator and The Witcher, to Captain America: The First Avenger and Band of Brothers?

While you’re visiting, be sure to check out The Lion & Lamb yard, where you’ll find plenty of places for a spot of lunch.

Or you could just explore the town’s lovely parks, quaint walkways and independent shops.
