Mark Sanderson

Mark has worked at UCA for over 25 years as a senior lecturer in Graphic Design theory and practice on the BA Maidstone, and led the MA Graphic Design programme for two years at Rochester before it transferred to Epsom.

He has also taught on the BA Photography courses at Maidstone and Farnham. Previous Masters courses he has taught on include Maidstone UCA (Visual Communication) and Goldsmiths College, London (Textiles).

Mark graduated with a BA (Hons) in Art History from Magdalene College, University of Cambridge, and after that, an MA in 20th century Art History from The Courtauld Institute of Art, London, where his research topic was Carlo Carrà and the development of a national ideal in painting in the 1920s.   

Mark has worked as a professional photographer of architecture and interiors and has had work published in design and architecture magazines.
