Liz Wilson joined UCA in 2011 as a Printmaking Technician and Sessional Lecturer. She received a Masters in Fine Art from the Royal College of Art in 2017, a Postgraduate Certificate in Post-Compulsory Education in 2009 and a BA (hons) in Illustration and Animation from the University of Gloucestershire in 2008.

Liz works with various course portfolios in Epsom, namely BA Fashion Promotion & Imaging, BA Graphic Design, MA Design Innovation & Brand Management, MA Graphic Design and National Art & Design Saturday Club.

She also works as an artist and has exhibited and screened works within the UK and internationally within various Art Institutions. Working across the boundaries of print, moving image and sculpture her practice and research draws connections between the virtual space and physical copy, reflecting the constant developments within technology and our complex relationship with images.

In recent months her work has been shortlisted for Bloomberg New Contemporaries (2018), Stanley Picker Tutorship (2017), In addition to being selected as ‘One to Watch’ by editor in chief for ‘After Nyne’ magazine (2017). She has also been awarded The Augustus Martin Print Prize (2017), Eaton Fund (2017), YLCE Award (2016), University for the Creative Arts Professional Development Grant (2015/16) and the Pushing Print Solo Award and Bursary (2015).
