Denise joined the Fashion department at Rochester in May 2005 – prior to joining UCA she had spent the major part of her career working extensively within the Fashion Industry.

The key focus of her role throughout this time focused on the processes within Product development for Fashion retail companies including Karen Millen where as Head of Production she managed the various teams throughout all the various technical activities for garment manufacture from design concept through to final product delivery.

An major element within the Fashion Industry has involved the benefits and uses for technology within the Fashion development process, particularly the use of CAM ( Computer Aided Manufacturing)– which is now a key element of Denise’s teaching practice.

Denise also manages the student work experience options for the Fashion Design course.
