Bronze Arts Award Virtual Summer School

This five-day virtual Summer School will give you the opportunity to experience a range of creative disciplines and create a diverse portfolio of work as you work towards achieving a Bronze Arts Award.

This virtual Summer School will be delivered through a combination of scheduled live sessions and pre-recorded creative workshops that you will take part in during independent study time. The pre-recorded activities will be Art & Design themed covering a range of creative disciplines.

Each day of the Summer School will start with a live session with an Arts Award Adviser to discuss your daily study brief, as well as an opportunity for a group discussion. After this you will spend your independent study time working towards your brief and creating your Arts Award portfolio. Each afternoon there will be an opportunity to join a live Q&A session with UCA students and practicing artists from a range of creative disciplines to find out more about creative careers and studying at university.

Throughout the week you will cover all aspects of the Bronze Arts Award criteria including participating in creative activities, reviewing an arts event, researching an inspirational artist and sharing a creative skill with others. You will also have a dedicated Arts Award Adviser to support you and answer any questions you may have about Bronze Arts Award during the Summer School.
