UCA Journalism students interview X Factor finalists

Two of our Journalism students from UCA Farnham interviewed X Factor finalists Reggie ‘n’ Bollie this week as they returned to their home town of Farnborough, ahead of the final on Saturday 12th December.

Jessica Kennedy and Jolene Lukes interviewed the local residents of Farnborough who took to the streets to see Reggie ‘n’ Bollie, along with their X Factor mentor Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. The pair told the crowd of supporters: “We’re going to make sure we do our very best to win this for Farnborough!”

Jessica and Jolene were invited into Reggie ‘n’ Bollie’s home to speak to them about their experience in The X Factor, their music, and their hopes and plans for the future.

Our Journalism course is one of the longest established in the country, and is taught by a number of working journalists and accredited by the Broadcast Journalism Training Council. Students on this course – like Jessica and Jolene – work across print, online, television and radio, and learn essential journalistic and professional media skills.

You can watch Jessica and Jolene putting their interviewing skills into practice when they interviewed the X Factor stars – and their fans – here:
