Postgraduate student work to go on public display this month

From Animation to Ceramics and Photography to Architecture, the very best of UCA postgraduate student work is set to go on display to the public this month.

The shows, which begin at the end of August, will exhibit work created by students from UCA’s campuses in Canterbury, Epsom, Farnham and Rochester.

Postgraduate Subject Leader for the School of Craft and Design, Rebecca Skeels, said:

“We’re delighted to be showcasing this year’s postgraduate work starting later this month. The MA students have developed their design skills and reflective practices throughout their studies – and produced high quality final pieces. The collaboration across the art and design disciplines throughout their courses have resulted in exhibitions, articles, installation pieces, winning competitions, winning commissions and much more.

“Each student’s work is ambitious, unique, well thought-out and inspirational; the group is diverse in the areas they have researched, as well as what they have produced. It’s an event not to be missed.”

Previous years have seen the University welcome thousands of visitors to its campuses to view the work on display, and this year’s shows are expected to offer an exciting mix of creativity and innovation.
