The GFW Presents... has been designed by the Graduate Fashion Foundation to help graduates like Sally launch their brand to a global audience. The stand will allow emerging designers to showcase their graduate catwalk collections and portfolios, as well as giving them the opportunity to become part of a fashion week that is embracing emerging brands who are making a positive change in the industry.

Hilary Alexander OBE, Honorary President of Graduate Fashion Week, said: “The Graduate Fashion Foundation is excited to be able to showcase four exceptional GFW2019 collections in the new Positive Fashion exhibition. GFW Presents… is a first in our twenty-nine-year history and a marvellous opportunity to demonstrate the vital role of sustainability and Considered Design in UK fashion education.”

The GFW Presents… graduates are part of the fashion innovators and emerging brands who are championing the three #PositiveFashion pillars of the exhibition, Sustainability, Equality & Diversity, and Craftmanship and Community.

Sally advocates the #PositiveFashion ethos, with a signature style that epitomises craftsmanship by harking back to a bygone era.  Her designs are an eclectic mix of antiques and curiosities immortalised in clothing: full of charm and rich in narrative. Her garments and accessories are lovingly made, classical in design yet modern in their appeal.

Her graduate collection entitled A Collectors Collection, featured six muses, each ensemble taking inspiration from their ephemera and most treasured possessions. The resulting outfits contain a rich tapestry of imagery, techniques, and textures evoking days gone by.

“I enjoy using bygone imagery from vintage advertising to old bric-a-brac, anything that takes my fancy, and then weaving a narrative through the pieces I make,” explained Sally.
