Our Farnham campus is getting ready to host an exhibition of work from international students studying the Graduate Diploma in Art & Design on 20 and 21 August. We’ll be showcasing the work of students from over ten different nations, with projects that cover a wide range of courses – Animation, Illustration, Fine Art, Product Design, Design Innovation & Brand Management, Architecture, Textiles, Media Communications, and Crafts.
Of the 14 students enrolled in this year’s Graduate Diploma in Art & Design, we’re delighted that 12 have decided to stay with us and study a Masters course. This exhibition will be the final time they showcase their work at UCA before embarking on this new stage of their art and design education, having chosen their specialist areas.
Among the varied range of work on display will be: a video installation that investigates the nature of mortality and memoriam; an animated film that deals with narrative approaches to questioning the nature of the smartphone; a textile installation that explores and questions hypersensitivity. This will be a great opportunity to see a diverse collection of work produced by students from many different national and artistic backgrounds.
