Business of Fashion (BoF) has named the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) among one of the best places to study fashion in the world, and awarded Badges of Excellence to three fashion courses at UCA Epsom.
BA (Hons) Fashion Promotion & Imaging, BA (Hons) Fashion (School of Fashion) and BA (Hons) Fashion Management & Marketing FMM (Business School for the Creative Industries) have been awarded with the Best Learning Experience Badge of Excellence, as well as FMM also receiving the Best in Long-Term Value Badge of Excellence.
Using a rigorous selection process, a newly formed BoF Education Council gathered survey feedback from a record number of student and alumni, from forty-three institutions across sixteen countries. “The global assessment…..aims to empower prospective students to make informed decisions about their education,” (BoF).
BoF recognised the fashion courses at UCA Epsom and Rochester, which intermingle creative art, business and technology throughout all aspects of fashion education. They also noted the value in equipping students with transferable skills for a variety of careers, with alumni going on to work at notable companies like Burberry, Ralph Lauren, Stella McCartney and Harrods.
