UCA Epsom to host BBC Radio 4’s 'Any Questions?'

We are hosting BBC Radio 4’s flagship political panel programme Any Questions? at our Epsom campus on Friday 7 October.

Members of the public are invited to apply for tickets to the show by contacting Any Questions?, which is chaired by one of Britain’s best-known journalists and broadcasters, Jonathan Dimbleby, provides members of the audience with the opportunity to put questions, on a range of topical issues, to a panel of political and public figures.

First broadcast in October 1948, the long-running programme visits different parts of the country each week and is broadcast live on BBC Radio 4 on Friday evenings and repeated on Saturday lunchtimes at 1.15pm. The audience submits questions on the day of broadcast, a number of which are then selected for the show. Panellists on the programme hear the questions for the first time during the broadcast, along with the show’s studio and radio audience.

Doors to the event in Ashley Road, Epsom, will open at 6.30pm, with the broadcast expected to go live from just after 8pm.

UCA is a top 40 UK university and the second largest provider of creative arts education in Europe. It has campuses in Epsom, Farnham, Canterbury and Rochester, as well as teaching bases at Maidstone Television Studios and the Royal School of Needlework.

The panel for the show will be confirmed in due course.
