New Computer Accounts
Line managers will need to contact HR and HR will contact the IT Service Desk with the details of the new person so that the account and email can be created. The Technicians will inform the line manager once the account has been created.
Sessional/ Temporary Staff
There is a form for these that the line manager is required to fill in. It can be downloaded from the following link (UCA login required)
New Sessional/Temporary staff account IT Request Form
Please fill in the form and send it back to the IT Service Desk via email. The IT Service Desk will arrange for the account to be created, and the line manager on the form will be informed when that has been done. Alternatively, please contact the IT Service Desk and we can email you a copy.
Please be aware that the above has to be requested by your line manager and not by you directly. We have no way of confirming who you are without your line manager.
Temporary Visitor Accounts
Line managers or event organisers will need to request temporary accounts for visiting consultants / guest lecturers before their arrival at UCA. The line manager or event organiser is required to submit a "New Temporary staff account IT Request Form" to the IT Service Desk which will then be processed by the IT Customer Services Team. Please allow 3 days for the creation of visitor accounts. Please use the Temporary account form linked to above to request a temporary visitor account.
Line Managers - if you have a member of staff that is leaving, please inform HR. If the member of staff is Sessional or Temporary, we would appreciate it if you would inform the IT Service Desk so that their account and email can be disabled.
Access to other systems/software
Please note who you need to speak to directly if you need access to the following:

- myUCA - email@example.com
- HRPRO - Richard Speller
- iCM - IT Service Desk
- SITS - Chris Allison
