Thrive: UCA's creative careers advocacy campaign brings together careers professionals, educators and industry experts to support young adults in choosing the right path into the creative industries.

With 1 in 11 jobs in the UK being in the creative economy, helping students understand the different creative pathways on offer has never been more important; which is why we’re committed to supporting you in inspiring a new creative generation.

Held at the UK's first Business School for the Creative Industries, our Thrive conferences bring together speakers at the forefront of creative education and industry to empower careers advisors by providing clear information about creative pathways.

Areas covered will include discussion on: Advertising, Arts & Festivals Management, Business, Innovation & Management for Fashion, Games, Cosmetics, Lifestyle and Fine Art industries, Event & Promotions Management, International Buying & Merchandising, Marketing and Retail Management.

The day will include a guest lecture from Elvin Turner (Sony Music/EA Games/Universal/eBay) ‘What Business can learn from the Creative Industries’ and the and importance of creativity.

This event is ideal for careers and teaching professionals working with students considering the options for further study in creative and business management courses within Higher Education.
