A development day hosted by the University for the Creative Arts
The advice and support of a careers professional can make all the difference to a young adult struggling to identify their next steps in life. With 1 in 11 jobs in the UK being in the creative economy, helping students understand the different creative pathways on offer has never been more important; which is why we’re committed to supporting you in inspiring a new creative generation.
Last year we launched our Thrive campaign, designed to empower careers advisors by providing clear information about creative pathways. Following the success of previous conferences, this June we’ll be hosting a development day specifically for careers professionals. We’ll explore the employer’s perspective with speakers drawn from growth industries such as gaming, music and film, and also have a forum to discuss the current landscape of creative education options. By the end of the event, you’ll have a deeper understanding of the educational pathways on offer and how to help students pick the right route for them.
Thrive: Creative Careers in 2018 is completely free for careers professionals working in schools and colleges, with places available on a first come, first served basis.
Join us for a day of talks and discussions dedicated to helping young people thrive in their chosen field.
