In this role you will be responsible for designing and implementing inspired digital content that will be used across multiple marketing channels with the aim of engaging customers and consumers, increasing conversion and increasing broader brand awareness. The role is a core member of a small and close-knit team, and is essential to support the continued growth of the Drinks21 and businesses. It requires an individual who has very good experience of digital design  and website functionality. 

The Digital Marketing and Content Assistant duties include: 

Design Creatives

  • Using Adobe Creative Suite, create and manage the images for all websites to include creating banner images, editing & re-sizing product images, category blocks
  • Search and collate imagery for social media use
  • Develop creatives for both businesses being true to the brand aesthetics of each
  • Develop category initiatives eg. Wine collection; Gin range
  • Create designs, layouts and print ready artwork for online and offline use
  • Collate central image library 


  • Working with guidance from Marketing Director, create and upload content for the websites 
  • Deliver a strong user experience online and consistency of messaging 

E-mail Marketing

  • Taking guidance from the Marketing Director, create and implement day-to-day e-mail campaigns
  • Report on each E-mail campaign success
  • Set up and manage automated e-mails 

Social Media

  • Manage social media channels - working with the in-house and/or agency team to create and share content and repurpose content for social channels
  • Deliver ad-hoc projects to support the business
  • Provide support for marketing events and exhibitions planning and creating relevant artwork for stand designs and promotions 

Other Key requirements:

  • Experience of using Adobe Creative Suite - photoshop and illustrator
  • A passion for ecommerce, digital marketing, innovation and technology
  • Experience in producing varied content and copy for an online retailer is desirable
  • Ability to communicate effectively, problem solve and to operate as part of a small team
  • The ideal candidate will be a school-leaver or graduate - proactive, well organised and be able to work autonomously while dealing with a dynamic workload
  • Entrepreneurial, energetic and self-motivated


 Salary £18,000- £20,000 per Annum
