Oxford Fashion Studio produces runway shows for independent designers coinciding with New York Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week. Since 2009 Oxford Fashion Studio has produced 118 runway shows featuring 639 designers from 70+ countries around the world. The role

Salary: £26-32k ($36-45k) OTE (Base + Commission)

Location: London or New York

Status: Full Time

Duration: Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, ambitious and personable sales professional to join our wonderful team producing exceptional runway shows around the world. You will be on the front-line identifying independent designers around the world with quality collections that fit the market and the expectations of press and stockists in each fashion capital. You will represent OFS and our unique services embodying OFS values. You will be supported by a team with experience of representing more than 600 designers from more than 70 countries. The primary purpose of the role is to secure, manage and represent clients (designers) for runway shows during New York Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week. The role involves meeting weekly and monthly sales targets during the sales season. The role suits a determined target-driven sales person seeking to combine a real passion for sales with the thrill and challenges of fashion week.

Responsibilities

Sales

  • Devising and proposing sales strategies
  • Defining, sourcing and qualifying leads (designers)
  • Presenting potential clients to the Runway Director for approval
  • Managing multi-channel sales campaigns utilising email, phone calls, social media etc
  • Recording all interaction on the OFS CRM system (Insightly) with daily and monthly reporting
  • Meeting weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Using Xero Accounting to manage client payment plans

 

Account Management

  • Delivering exceptional client-oriented customer service in line with OFS values
  • Taking ownership of and representing your clients to ensure a quality service
  • Managing client relationships, client communication and client in-person experience
  • Reporting runway show impact to clients post-show
  • Soliciting client feedback to improve services and monitoring client satisfaction
  • Securing repeat client bookings

 

Development

  • Proactively identifying opportunities for personal development
  • Regularly briefing the OFS Exec on related market developments or opportunities
  • Actively participate in OFS sales strategy meetings
  • Contributing to sales training programmes for peak performance

 

Person specification

Experience

  • 1-3 years direct sales experience
  • Proven track record of sales (£250k+ p.a.)
  • Backstage experience
  • Devising, presenting, delivering and assessing sales campaigns
  • Fashion industry from a business perspective
  • Google Drive and cloud systems
