Festive Printmaking and Typography Masterclass
Discover Arts Award

Saturday 11th December, 10am - 3pm. This free Masterclass is open to students aged 13-15 (years 9-10) living in Kent and Medway (please see below for full eligibility criteria). Deadline for applications is 23:59 on Sunday 28th November.

During this one day in-person Masterclass you will explore chalkboard typography and printmaking techniques, and make some festive outcomes to keep or use as gifts. This Masterclass provides a great opportunity to explore a new creative discipline, find out more about creative careers and pathways, and add to your portfolio of work.

You'll also get the chance to achieve your Discover Arts Award, a certificate which is great for your CV if you're interesting in further creative study or careers. Not sure what Arts Award is? Find out on our Arts Award Student Page.

All creative materials required will be provided free of charge. Support with travel is also available for target students - please see eligibility criteria or get in touch to find out more.

The Masterclass is free to attend and open to all students aged 13-15 (years 9-10) living in Kent and Medway.

This activity is provided by the Kent and Medway Collaborative Outreach Programme (KaMCOP). KaMCOP is part of the national Uni Connect programme, which aims to increase the number of young people from underrepresented groups and areas accessing higher education.

Priority places will be given to students from Kent and Medway Collaborative Outreach Programme (KaMCOP) partner schools or target wards. 

Any remaining spaces will be allocated in line with the UCA KaMCOP eligibility criteria.
